Die Webflow Conf 2023 has introduced new updates and features to improve design and development options. New features include vimproved cooperation, localization, advanced design features, and the next generation of Webflow applications.

1. Native integration with Spline
Spline is a web-based 3D design software that allows users to create animations, visual models, and interactive experiences. Webflow integrates Spline so that it will be possible to control native 3D animations via Webflow in the future.
2. Localization & multilingualism
Webflow localization allows companies of all sizes to customize their websites for visitors from all over the world. With Webflow Localization, you can customize any content on your site for a specific location. This feature is now available to enterprise customers and partners and will be available to all customers next month.
3. Variables
Variables store values such as colors, fonts, and sizes. With variables, design work can be implemented much more modularly and consistently. This function is an important innovation, especially for websites that are intended to scale, and is basically the basis for creating a functioning design system. This feature is available in Designer from today.
4. Components are updated
The Webflow components have become more powerful and easier to use. Following justified criticism of the components last year, Webflow has fundamentally improved them and optimized them in terms of UX and better scalability. Teams that build on components also have more options by introducing slots. Slots are changeable placeholders within a component, which enable the creator of the component to incorporate flexibility right from the start.
5. Improving teamwork
Webflow has invested heavily in improving teamwork. The latest version of the comment feature allows quick feedback in the context of the build to move projects forward, and the role of free commentator allows specific team members to be limited to “comments only” in Webflow.
